  2. Kia Ora Kayla,

My name is Rachel and I am working with the Summer Learning Journey blogging team this year. I completely agree with Jonathan's comment about your hotel. I like the way that you have provided us with information about where you would build the hotel, the amount that you would charge per night and then given us a personalised drawing of the inside of a room. It looks like it would be the perfect space for someone to stay. They have bedside tables where they can put their books or other materials that they need at night. They can also hang up their clothes on the racks and enjoy some nice artwork on the wall. Do you have artwork on the walls in your bedroom?

We have just spent the past three days re-doing my son, Aronui's, room. He is eight years old and loves Harry Potter so we created a feature wall with Harry Potter pictures. I really hope that he will like it!

Wishing you and your family a wonderful new year.

    Bye for now,
    Rachel :)
